When I was first introduced to blogging, I read more than I posted. As I read, I was amazed at what people would write. I remarked to a friend, ” Because of the internet and blogging, any idiot can have an audience. So when I contemplated a blog site, the statement returned to my mind. “AnyIdiot.com seemed to be a natural name for my site. I hope and trust that the idiocy will be kept to a minimum. My site is primarily for family and friends(Both of you).
My site will serve several purposes. First and foremost, it will bring glory to the Lord Jesus Christ. I Timothy 1:1 tells us that Christ is our hope. So we must lift Him up. Also, the site will serve as an outlet for my creative writing (wanderings) and poetry. Some poetry will have a distinctive cowboy flavor. After all, my wife and I are from the west. Shirley’s parents are farmers/ ranchers from Colorado. My parents have faithfully served the Lord in Pastoral ministry in the west for many years and then more recently for 12 years in Australia as missionaries. Please feel free to comment on posts. If I ever figure out digital photography, I may post some pictures of family.

Thanks for the good information. I loved the poems and would like to have more of the same. I found your site while looking for information on Keith E Knauss. The comment by him is so truth. At our very best we still do not measure up. The prayer that I have to pray often is “Lord, while serving you please help me not to serve myself.” Yes, we all desire to hear those words, “Well done thy good and faithfull servant,” but it is very doubtful that any will really deserve it.
